I'd been on a recent trip to Chiang Mia and went up into the mountains to a Karen village, they do love their colours up there, lots of bright red,yellows and blues. When I was working on this at the start I wasn't sure he it was to be a boy or a girl, I decided on a girl so gave her lots of flowers in her hair. Lots of broad brush strokes.
