I stand at my easel looking at a blank canvas, I have an idea of what I want to work on but sometimes that idea changes, I wanted to do something different and started doing what I do when I’m not sure just let my imagination take over. ’The man’ just started to appear on the canvas, and I liked him and worked with him I didn’t want him complicated or too simple just something to look at and the painting explains itself, that explanation maybe different to different people, depending on their imagination. I loved working with the colours and the form it took and I’m really happy with ‘The man’.
