I was on a tour of Thailand and met this lady in Bangkok though she was originally from Mae Hong Son (where the Long necks come from) I was immediately drawn to her she was a real character and didn't mind at all me taking her photo, in fact I think she enjoyed it. I thought at the time her face would make a brilliant oil painting, so I did this portrait of her.
