Two rice farmers are having their lunch break out of the hot sun and under a tree in the shade of a mountain. Rice farming is hot dusty work and you would be glad to get a little shade and hopefully a little sleep. A small but beautiful painting that really needs to be seen lots of subtle colours and you see something different every time you look at it. The painting is part of my memories of Thailand series and this is done mostly with palette knife.
