When I was a kid at school we would have to take our lunch box to school as there was no kitchen or cooking facilities, when the dinner bell would ring we would all sit on the floor to eat our lunch. Almost every day I had a fried egg on rice, the other kids would say, Ta fried egg again you'll begin to start looking like a fried egg. I used to plead with my sister to have something different but we had a lot of chickens and a lot of eggs so it was always fried egg on rice, it was easy for her.
I’ve had great success with my egg collection they are travelling all over the world and from the East coast to the West coast of America, I’m very proud of that.
COMMISSIONS: I would be delighted to create you a unique work, whatever size you need and / or colour palette.
I’m over the moon that I have been handpicked by the editors of ArtFinder to be tipped for the top in 2018 as one to watch and invest in.
I love painting people, but I don’t want to just paint portraits, I want my people to have a bit of character, a little of the night about them I want them to be special, I also want an art deco sort of surrealism feel to it, for you to see something different every time you look at it, I wanted it to hold your imagination.
“The longer you look at an object, the more abstract it becomes, and, ironically, the more real.” Lucian Freud
One of my latest review; ’Goddess under the moonlight' is my third painting by Ta. When I opened the tube in which she came and released her, 'The Goddess' was more beautiful than I had expected. The subtlety of colour that Ta achieves in the paintings that spring from her fertile imagination are a delight. This coupled with excellent communication and packing makes the whole experience of buying from Ta so easy. I can't wait for 'The Goddess' to be framed and see her gracing a wall in the room in which she will live.
My work is sold to collectors worldwide, namely in, Australia, Belgium, Brazil , Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Monaco, Norway, Portugal, Peru, Sweden, Scotland,Switzerland, Singapore, South Korea, The United Kingdom, The United States of America, and of course Thailand.
