Terms of Service
Effective July 27, 2026
These terms govern your use of ArtSala’s artist studio software, public websites, and related services. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to them.
1. Your account and studio records
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, for keeping your login secure, and for activity under your account. Your artwork, contact, sales, and business records remain yours. You grant ArtSala the limited permission needed to host, process, back up, and display the content you choose to publish.
2. Plans, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans renew at the cadence shown when you subscribe until canceled. Stripe processes new ArtSala subscriptions. Existing migrated customers may continue on their existing Recurly price, cadence, quantity, discounts, add-ons, and coupons until they choose a different plan or cancel. Failed Stripe subscription payments use Stripe’s configured recovery schedule, with ArtSala access retained for up to 14 days while recovery is attempted.
New paid ArtSala subscriptions include a one-time 30-day satisfaction guarantee on the first subscription charge. The workspace owner must request it within 30 days of that charge. If approved, ArtSala refunds that full first charge, cancels the paid subscription, and returns the workspace to the free plan. This guarantee applies to the artist’s ArtSala subscription—not to artwork purchased from an artist.
3. Artist websites and artwork sales
You control which content is public. If you enable artwork checkout, you are the seller and merchant responsible for your products, descriptions, pricing, shipping, delivery, customer service, returns, refunds, taxes, and disputes. You must provide accurate shipping and return policies before checkout can be enabled.
Artwork payments use direct charges on your connected Stripe account. You have a direct relationship with Stripe and access to the full Stripe Dashboard. Stripe deducts its own processing and account fees from you. ArtSala’s application fee is 0% at launch. We will give notice before introducing or changing an ArtSala transaction fee.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use ArtSala to break the law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, distribute malicious material, misrepresent artwork, evade payment obligations, or interfere with the service. We may restrict abusive or unlawful activity when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.
5. Service changes and availability
We work to keep ArtSala reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may improve, replace, or discontinue features. If a change materially affects a paid plan, we will provide reasonable notice when practical. You may export core studio data using available export tools.
6. Disclaimers and responsibility
ArtSala provides software, not legal, tax, accounting, appraisal, shipping, escrow, or art-authentication services. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, and ArtSala is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, buyer-seller disputes, an artist’s fulfillment, or third-party provider outages.
7. Privacy and contact
Our Privacy Notice explains how information is handled. Artwork buyers should also review the Artwork Purchase Terms. Questions or cancellation and satisfaction-guarantee requests may be sent through the support option in your ArtSala account or the public support form if you cannot sign in.
